About Saranac Lake Marina

For generations, the shoreline of Saranac Lake has welcomed paddlers, anglers, and families setting off into the wild beauty of the Adirondacks. Saranac Lake Marina has proudly been part of that story—welcoming locals and visitors alike for more than a decade.

We trace our roots to 1924, when Harry Duso established a modest boat service on Crescent Bay. It wasn’t long before his operation became a local fixture—serving outdoor enthusiasts and lake legends alike, and laying the foundation for responsible recreation on the lake.

By the early 2010s, the marina had fallen into disrepair. In 2014, under the leadership of Managing Partner Mike Damp, Saranac Lake Marina entered a new chapter. With a vision rooted in stewardship and service, Mike led a comprehensive revitalization—removing derelict structures, restoring shoreline habitat, and installing eco-conscious infrastructure that honors both the lake’s ecological integrity and the marina’s deep history of care.

Our Scenic — and Convenient — Adirondack Location

Located at 4901 State Route 3 in Saranac Lake, NY, the marina offers direct access to the lower section of the Saranac Chain of Lakes, including:

  • Lower Saranac Lake

  • Middle Saranac Lake

  • Second Pond

  • Kiwassa Lake

  • Oseetah Lake

  • Lake Flower

Together, these waterways provide over 25 miles of continuous wilderness boating. Over the years, we’ve supported countless visitors looking to enjoy the region’s rich fishing opportunities, island camping, and peaceful sunset cruises.

While Upper Saranac Lake is not directly accessible from our location, Mike Damp also manages the nearby Upper Saranac Marina, providing full-service options on that lake as well—so yes, we’ve got the whole chain of lakes covered.
